Jon Jang Architect together with Niche Interiors has designed this inviting modern house for a couple relocating from San Francisco to enjoy a larger property in Menlo Park, a city in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. The homeowners desired a modern home yet wanted it to be warm, welcoming, and durable where guests (and kids) would feel at ease.
The interior design team envisioned a light and airy design scheme for this dwelling, beautifully punctuated with deliberate uses of color. Continue below to see the rest of this stunning home tour…

What We Love: This inviting modern house was designed to feel light and airy with stylish furnishings and gorgeous details throughout. We love all of the natural light in this home and despite its modern design, it feels comfortable and relaxing for both family living and entertaining. Our favorite space is the living room, with its large sectional sofa, stone-clad fireplace, and abundance of windows that invite nature inside. Overall, the design team did a beautiful job of creating a home that balances sleek, contemporary aesthetics with warmth and livability.
