This beautiful lakeside dream house was custom-designed by Alexander Design Group together with Lenox House Design, nestled along the south shore of Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, Minnesota. Created for family living, this dwelling was sited to take advantage of the fabulous views. This home is a fresh take on a traditional look.

The homeowners desired a brown home, nodding to their brown home that previously stood on the lot, so the project team selected a fresh grey-brown accented with a crisp white trim as a contrast. Custom stained cedar garage doors and beautiful blue front doors bring added visual interest to the front elevation of the home.

What We Love: This dreamy Lake Minnetonka house provides its inhabitants with a warm and welcoming design, beginning with the exterior facade. We are just loving the blue door, it really pops against the grey-brown palette of the siding. On the interior, every detail was carefully curated, from the millwork to the furnishings and fixtures to create a beautiful and timeless aesthetic. Overall, the project team created a gorgeous home that offers a wonderful connection with its lakefront surroundings.
