Brechbuhler Architects has crafted this mountain retreat with charming rustic details, nestled into a peaceful wooded area of southern Montana. As you follow the stone path, it leads you up to the front door of this welcoming dwelling, where comfort and natural beauty intertwine.

The custom-designed entryway includes a frontier flagstone walkway, reclaimed timber, and an outdoor grill. Beyond the house, you will find a spacious shop. There is also a seasonal creek, which is crossed with a 14-foot-long stone slab to access the hot tub and pathways that take you to the outbuildings.

Above: The flagstone path transitions into the covered entryway, with reclaimed siding and local plant species. A stepped entry roof showcases the natural wood hues, helping to blend the home into the landscape.
