For their getaway pad, the homeowners requested their dwelling to be unique and well-appointed in its materials, finishes, and furniture selections.
The resulting haven, nestled in a meadow with a meandering stream, offers vibrant splashes of color, indoor-outdoor living elements, and a tranquil, inviting escape from the couple’s busy travel schedule and the fast-paced Front Range life. Above: When you enter this dwelling, you can see straight through to the Fraser River. This double-volume foyer is flooded with natural light courtesy of walls of glazing and the open tread, steel-framed staircase. The vintage rug offers a cheerful vibe, sourced from the Artisan Rug Gallery.
Above: This getaway’s living room provides artful glimpses wherever you look—from the colorful artwork by artist Sarah Kinn and Kelly Degnan Studio on the wall, to the vintage antler chandelier hanging from the ceiling, to the asymmetrical window that frames a forested view. The sofas were sourced from Crate & Barrel and are upholstered in a cozy woven fabric.
What We Love: This cozy mountain getaway was designed with entertaining in mind, providing comfortable spaces to relax and unwind. Large walls of floor-to-ceiling glazing were beautifully integrated to help capture the incredible views while flooding the interiors with natural light. Overall, we love so many details in this home, from the pops of color in the artwork to the layers of textures for warmth and the fabulous entertaining spaces.
