This elegant oceanside home was designed by Jenny Martin Design together with Novus Properties, located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The goal of this project was to create a timeless aesthetic that caters to the needs of a vibrant young family of four. Each space was conceived with a holistic approach, prioritizing both quality and comfortable livability.

The project team had designed this home for their previous client, so it was important for them to continue their involvement with the new owners. Blending the traditional features of the dwelling with a more contemporary aesthetic, they were able to pay homage to its timeless design while infusing the new owner’s playful vibe.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding seascape and lush gardens, the goal was to evoke the coastal essence through a thoughtful selection of finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. In light of the persistent coastal winds and salination that are typical of seaside homes, the project team carefully selected durable finishes built to withstand the elements for years to come.

Interior living spaces feature custom-fabricated motorized drapery, handcrafted polished nickel rings and rods, and unique, locally crafted furniture pieces. Every facet of the home harmoniously converges to craft a personalized interior built to last a lifetime.

What We Love: This elegant oceanside home embodies livable luxury with timeless design elements throughout. There are so many details to love about this home, from the soothing color palette to the customized finishes and beautiful landscaping. We are especially loving the outdoor entertaining spaces with the fabulous outdoor kitchen and secret garden that will provide a wonderful respite to relax and unwind.
