NEED TO KNOW: This is the personal family home of the design-build firm that created this 6,000 square foot dwelling.
Above: The powder room features unlacquered brass plumbing fixtures, hardware and mirror.
Above: The Japanese lantern was sourced from Stone Forest.
Above: This side yard features rectangular flagstones in a full range of bluestone colors along with Delaware river stones that leads to the Japanese garden path.
Above: This outdoor kitchen features a wood charcoal Kamado grill, a gas grill, along with storage and a countertop for meal prep. The sides are covered in stucco, while the countertops are honed granite. This material is perfect for outdoor use, as it is not porous and does not stain or show water and dirt like a polished finish would.
Above: A cozy outdoor lounge space is set in front of a fireplace, which plays double duty as a retaining wall. The interior of the fireplace is constructed with firebricks in a herringbone pattern. The fireplace is capped with Pennsylvania bluestone. There is a box for wood storage to the left of the fireplace. This wood-burning fireplace also has a gas line to help get it started.
Above: Along the back of the house, a bluestone path connects two formal patios โ a lounge patio at one end and a dining patio at the other. A prominent Japanese garden along the pathway adds to the tranquility of this outdoor oasis.
Above: The property also features a fabulous pool house with a covered outdoor living area. This space is perfect for movie watching and game nights with the comfort of an outdoor fireplace. The pool house also includes a bar with counter stools, a bathroom and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after taking a dip in the swimming pool.
A blend of elegance and relaxation, this design features a luxurious pool, sleek hardscaping, and a stylish pool house
