A beautiful 1920’s Spanish-style home was completely refreshed by interiors studio Calimia Home, located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The owners are a young family from New York City who desired a welcoming home with a laid-back lifestyle for their everyday living.
The designer’s goal was to strip away the Palm Beach style โ layers of wallpaper and pink furnishings โ to reveal the home’s original Spanish architecture. They took a minimalist approach when it came to the selection of paint and furnishings. They wanted to highlight the structure’s artful details while creating a casual atmosphere for the owners to meet their lifestyle needs.
What We Love: This Spanish-style home has undergone a beautiful and inviting overhaul of the interior, along with a refresh to the exterior to provide a relaxing oasis for everyday living and entertaining. We are loving the overall feel of this home, preserving the original character while providing the owners with their desired laid-back lifestyle.

Above: The exterior was an integral part of the vision for the owner’s new life. The outside space is surrounded by lush landscaping and anchored by arches in a private courtyard. A patio space was created outside of the family room, ideal for entertaining with a dining and lounge space overlooking the swimming pool: the South Florida dream.
