Step into a modern treehouse with serene coastal views in South Carolina

coastal-modern-home-exterior

This coastal modern treehouse was designed by Clarke Design Group along with Melissa Lenox Design, located in Captain’s Island, a waterfront community on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. Created for a family of four, the team drew inspiration for this project from the marsh front surroundings. This new home embodies indoor/outdoor living at its finest with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

The design is a clean, modern canvas upon which architectural details and organic elements are carefully intertwined. Well-edited furnishings create a casually stylish backdrop for easy living and frequent entertaining. Serene marsh front views beyond the infinity pool take center stage throughout the dwelling.

What We Love: This incredible coastal modern treehouse offers a wonderful indoor/outdoor vibe thanks to expansive walls of glass. The back of this home is a nature wonderland, with serene views of oak trees and marsh that provides a relaxed living environment. From the gorgeous exterior facade to the floating stairs that leads into the light-filled entry, there are so many fantastic details… but we are especially loving the serene backyard terrace.

How many studs did you put between the windows and above the windows between window and transom. I love that they are defined but yet connected.

Why do you call it a treehouse?
