Miller-Roodell Architects in collaboration with Kylee Shintaffer Design has designed this family ski chalet located in Big Sky, Montana. This mountain retreat is a gathering place for family, designed to connect the home to its natural surroundings while also creating a fresh and glamourous aesthetic.
Rustic architectural elements combined with bold colors and an eclectic mix of furnishings were used throughout the dwelling to push the envelope beyond the trappings of typical mountain house vernacular. The result was a true reflection of the owner’s personality and anything but typical.
