Green Line Architects has thoughtfully given an outdated 1970s split-level abode an inviting home makeover nestled in the snow-covered valley of Aspen, Colorado. The exterior facade now features bright white siding, an inviting front porch, beautiful gables and a wonderful bedroom addition constructed above the garage.

With spectacular mountain views in all directions, this outdoorsy family fell in love with this home that had been lovingly cared for by the previous owners. Despite having an un awkward floor plan and additional problems, they envisioned what this home could be for their family and commissioned a project team to bring their vision to life.

The original structure was boxy, so the architects reimagined the exterior into a sprawling dwelling featuring white siding with stone accents, copper gutters and gables with beautiful oval windows.

I don’t like the wallpaper in this one. I don’t see a lot of kitchens with the stove in the island!
