Bria Hammel Interiors is responsible for the decorating and styling of this stunning newly constructed family dream home located in Winnetka, a dreamy suburb half an hour outside of Chicago, Illinois. The scope of this project was to design spaces that were beautiful, approachable, and unique to their personalities through complete home furnishings and styling.

The homeowners were predominantly drawn to a traditional style. They requested that their home feel timeless, sophisticated yet kid-friendly, and open. A color palette of cooler, grayer tones was seamlessly blended for warmth and contrast. Continue below to see the rest of this inspiring home…

Overall, the design of this home reflects the owner’s personal style. Despite the designer being given free rein to create, the owner’s wishes ultimately shaped the design of their home which is exactly and perfectly tailored to them. Several of the furnishings and accessories in this home are either To The Trade (you need to hire an interior designer to purchase the items) or can be found in the designer’s shop, Brooke & Lou.

What We Love: This family dream home offers its inhabitants a bright and airy home with beautifully styled living spaces. With a mix of comfort and sophistication, this home caters to both adults and kids alike. We are especially loving the gorgeous white kitchen with blue accents. An expansive island is perfect for cooking and family gathering. Overall, the designer did a fantastic job of creating a timeless home for family living that will be enjoyed for years to come.
