Offering a warm cottage style feel, this inviting lakefront home was designed by Visbeen Architects, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This sophisticated design mixes past and present, a showcase in custom craftsmanship and detailing. Inside this two-story contemporary dwelling you will find a spacious floor plan that is bright and airy.

The main level encompasses roughly 3,000 square feet of open plan living, from the welcoming entry with multiple window seats and built-in benches to the central 15 by 22-foot kitchen, 22 by 18-foot living room with fireplace and adjacent dining and a relaxing, almost 300-square-foot screened-in porch. This level also includes a master bedroom suite, work room and laundry.

Above: On the lower level, you will find 1,960-square-feet of living space. This space features a 21 by 18-family room, a 14 by 17-square-foot home theater, and an 11 by 12-foot guest bedroom suite. There is also an exercise room and nearby sauna for rest and relaxation.
