This beautiful rustic contemporary home and outbuildings was designed by SDG Architecture, located in Palo Alto, a city in California’s San Francisco Bay Area. The fusion of wood and large windows define the large luminous spaces of this residence. An expansive great room offers an intimate atmosphere with touches of modernity with a large kitchen and marble island, a large living room decorated with wrought iron chandeliers and lounge area to enjoy the fireplace and TV corner.
An outbuilding near the main house is devoted to moments of leisure and relaxation, as is the large swimming pool that is set in the backyard behind the main house. Overall is this a beautiful wooden house that mixes modernity and tradition. Above: The windows start 42 inches above the floor and are 8 feet tall.
