An inviting beach style lake house designed by Stellar Homes in collaboration with Martha O’Hara Interiors is located on Lake Virginia, Minnesota. What makes this home so special is its peaceful and serene setting, surrounded by nature and evoking a coastal aesthetic that is very visually stunning. The interior decor scheme features bright pops of color throughout, whether it be on the furnishings or accent colors on the wall and built-in cabinetry.
Arched ceilings in the living room keeps the space bright and airy, while floor-to-ceiling windows offers its inhabitants a seamless connection between indoors and out. An open floor plan of the living, dining room and kitchen helps to facilitate entertaining family and friends in style. The flooring in the great room features a richly stained walnut which is covered by area rugs in the living and dining area to help delineate the spaces.
The front entryway welcomes guests into the home, offering sweeping views through the glass fronted windows of the living room and out to the wooded property and lake beyond. The dark tiling contrasts nicely with the crisp white walls clad with wood. A coastal colored area rug breathes life into the space, as does the brightly colored console table.

The walls and ceiling were done in a flat finish. They are all painted in the same color, which is Benjamin Moore Dune White 968.
