This beach style home was interior designed by Martha O’Hara Interiors and built by City Homes, located in Mound, Minnesota. Encompassing 2,952 square feet, this family home offers four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The walls in the living room were painted in Classic Gray OC-23 | Benjamin Moore, while the custom cabinetry, trim and ceiling are Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound. The gorgeous wood flooring and staircase consists of wire brushed white oak.
Above: The counter stools were sourced from Sika Design. The kitchen countertops are a white Carrara marble, while the cabinets were painted in Bunker Hill Green 566 | Benjamin Moore. The ceiling and trim paint color is Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound. The flooring is wire brushed white oak.
What We Love: This bright and airy beach style home offers beautiful interior styling with playful bursts of color throughout. The lively green cabinets in the kitchen are very uplifting, we can imagine this would be a fun place to cook and entertain! The kids bunk room looks so fun. Above: The wood topped island is made from oak wood cut from a tree on the home’s lot. It was stained with a custom stain that feels like a natural wood stain. The main island is about 4′ x 8′ and the extended table top island is about 5′ x 6′.

Above: The floor tile in the master bathroom was sourced through a showroom in Minnesota called Tile x Design. It is a 4″ x 12″ white porcelain tile. The counter top is Italian White Carrara Marble. The rug is a vintage over-dyed rug from Fay + Belle. All vintage over-dyed rugs are dyed with a dye that does not bleed and doesn’t wash out in the sunlight. In other words, it has a high color fastness or resistance to fading or bleeding.
The cabinets, walls and trim are all painted in Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound. The painting on the wall is an original, available through a local art gallery — Douglas Flanders & Associates.

Above: The bunks on both sides are a custom twin and the two in the middle-back are custom sizes. They had to be shortened to accommodate the space allowed. These custom bunks were made through the company, “Monkey-wid-a-Fez“.

The ceiling is painted in Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound. The light fixtures were sourced from Currey & Co. The flooring was done in a stained concrete with a high polish finish.
