This shingle style beach house was designed by Cronk Duch Architecture in collaboration with Andrew Howard Interior Design, located in the coastal community of Jacksonville, Florida. The objective for the design of this home was to create a casual, comfortable living space for a young family. The overall aesthetic needed to be elegant yet completely approachable. All furnishings have a family-friendly vibe, with durable, heavily textured fabrics that can stand up to wear and tear. Have a look below for the home tour and interior resources!
What We Love: The shingle style beach house offers a casual yet elegant atmosphere, with inviting yet stylish furnishings and decor. A soothing color palette gives this home a clean aesthetic, while high ceilings and expansive windows keeps the interiors feeling light and spacious. Pops of color show up in just the right places to add a playful vibe to this family-friendly abode. We are especially loving the master bedroom suite, with it’s french doors that allows private access to the outdoors.
