Designed by Hecht and Associates Architects in collaboration with Martha’s Vineyard Interior Design, this vivacious summer home is located in Falmouth, a coastal town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The interiors of this stunning home features breathtaking water views and the client’s love for color, creating a stylish retreat that the entire family can enjoy for years to come. Designed with open plan interiors and double height ceilings in the great room the home feels very warm and spacious.
The living room features a beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and a striking chandelier which was sourced from Restoration Hardware but is no longer available, however you can find something similar here. The sofas were sourced from Restoration Hardware, while the chairs can be found at Lee Industries and the coffee table and end table as well as the jute area rug (in a soft, wide braid) are from the designer’s own store in Martha’s Vineyard, Bespoke Abode. The color selection on the walls is Brushed Aluminum 1485 | Benjamin Moore, while the trim is Dove Wing OC-18 | Benjamin Moore.
The slip covered chairs positioned in front of the set of French doors were sourced from Lee Industries. The French doors provides a beautiful indoor-outdoor connection, leading out to a spacious deck that features a dining area to enjoy eating al fresco. Adirondack chairs and other cozy seating arrangements offer the home’s inhabitants plenty of space to entertain guests and enjoy views of the water.
What We Love: The bright splashes of color that appear throughout the interiors of this home gives it life and personality, making this a playful summer retreat that is cozy and welcoming. With plenty of windows to invite the ocean breezes in, this is one vacation home we would love to enjoy.

In the dining area, beautiful caged glass pendant lights hang at varying lengths above the antique wood dining table. The light fixtures were originally sourced from Pottery Barn, but they are unfortunately no longer available. If you want something similar, try here. The slip covered chairs can be found at Bespoke Abode, the designer’s own store.
