A tastefully renovated boutique apartment concept by Nobohome showcases a bright and colorful design scheme, located in the Born district of Barcelona, Spain. Situated on a first floor of an historically preserved building, the flat is comprised of 1,377 square feet (128 square meters) of living space with five balcony doors opening up to a stretched French balcony. The home was originally a labyrinth of small rooms, which was opened up to create luminous and airy interiors. Collaborating with interior design studio Egue y Seta on the project, the design team transformed this former student house into a spacious and contemporary home infused with warmth and comfort. Just inside the door you will notice an irresistible mix of furnishings with a Scandinavian air; authentic Spanish contemporary elements and a respect for traditional Catalan architecture. The stylish kitchen showcases a black and white geometric flooring, wood cabinets and granite countertops.

There are three bedrooms, all of which have their own color scheme and unique atmosphere. A Mediterranean style bedroom features walls of turquoise wallpaper and matching accessories. The Nature bedroom features a green hexagonal wall covering and the en-suite bathroom highlights green mosaic tiles. The third bedroom is inspired by Manhattan, New York, combining a geometric paper and other characteristic styles from the Big Apple. The en-suite bathroom is decorated with varying shapes of white tiles accented with yellow accessories. All of the bathrooms feature double sinks and spacious rain showers. The finished result is a melting pot of disparate styles in appearance, but in practice, combine perfectly.
