Inspired by late 19th-century camps, the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort is located on a 30 minute boat ride from the Village of Tofino in the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere, British Columbia, Canada. It is a dreamlike destination that combines a rustic nature experience with extreme luxury called ‘Glamping’. The resort is an unbelievably magical luxury accommodation which utilizes the local history and landscape to create an entirely unique concept.
The Resort is comprised of 20 white canvas massage, treatment, dining, lounge, and guest tents in the dense bush of one of the world’s few remaining temperate rainforests. Daily wilderness trips, including horseback riding, kayaking, whale watching, hiking, and fishing, allow you to create an itinerary on the spot.
Clayoquot also has a comprehensive recycling program, organic gardens, gravity-fed turbines that generate fuel-less electricity and hot water, a waste composting system, and a policy of nonintrusive, conservancy-driven marine and land adventures for guests — including a five-year plan to restore 6.4 kilometers (about four miles) of critical salmon-spawning habitats.
Prices range from $4,750.00 CAD – $11,000.00 CAD per person starting at a minimum of 3 nights stay, from May 17 to Sept. 30 from here. What do you think, is it worth the price of admission?
