A transitional style with whimsical nuances sets this gorgeous equestrian home apart, designed by Krista Watterworth Design Studio, located in Wellington, south Florida. The region is know as “horse country”, a quiet atmosphere that attracts equestrian people to reside here. Inhabitants of the area spend a lot of their free time horseback riding and competitors from all over the world come here to practice and compete. This stunning 3,200 square foot, four bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom residence is situated in the renowned Equestrian Club, which was selected by the homeowner whose daughter has become an accomplished competitor. They wanted their daughter to be immersed in the equestrian culture, honing her skill and spending time enjoying what she loves. Even though the traditions of the sleepy community appealed to the homeowner, she also wished to have her home reflect her taste and personality, a blend of modern and traditional styling of interiors that is effortless and relaxing.
Upon entryway into this breezy home you are greeted by a neutral color palette with bright pops of color throughout. The sunlit living room features sliding glass doors that helps to blur the lines between indoors and out. Through the glass doors, a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub awaits, surrounded by lush landscaping. Welcoming living spaces are perfect for entertaining family and friends. An open plan living and dining area invites social gatherings. A functional kitchen offers a small breakfast nook with orange framed chairs that creates a nice contrast against the crisp white cabinets. The finished result is a sophisticated atmosphere with cheerful pops of color that creates a lively aesthetic.
