Sean Anderson Design has reimagined this early 1990s Tudor style home in Memphis, Tennessee, infusing it with a cozy, refined aesthetic and beautiful antiques. The designer was commissioned to breathe new life into this four bedroom, four bathroom forever home, incorporating the owners collected antiques throughout to give it character and charm.
The designer and his team took six days to empty the house and reintroduce all of the furnishings and decor, giving a complete makeover. The majority of the items were purchased from 1stDibs, Etsy, and local antique markets. He also brought in antiques that were stored in the owners’ attic along with pieces that were currently on display and from the studio’s warehouse.
Living spaces were designed to showcase antiques and artwork. With the interior refresh, every room now feels cozy and serves a purpose.

What We Love: This completely refreshed Tudor home features dark and moody spaces that are full of texture and patina along with plenty of vintage finds that add character and personality to every room. We love all of the drama in this home, with the black walls and ceiling, intriguing decor packed with history, beautifully framed antique paintings and rough natural textiles. This home is warm and inviting for entertaining with so much visual interest, perfect as a conversation starter.
