Studio V Interior Architecture and Design has crafted this rustic mountain refuge situated in the Martis Camp community of Truckee, California. This high-country retreat offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, surrounded by the whimsy of an enchanted forest. The materials used in the exterior facade of this home meld perfectly into the landscape.
Clerestory windows in the great room help to keep the interior feeling light and airy. The heavy use of wood elements, integrated into both the exterior and the interior, adds an inviting warmth. Most of the furnishings used to decorate this home were custom-designed and fabricated to fit the scale of the interior spaces.

What We Love: This rustic mountain refuge offers plenty of warmth thanks to its heavy use of wood and layered textures. The warm hues of the color palette create a welcoming living environment, while the open layout encourages social interaction, perfect for this Lake Tahoe getaway. We are loving this comfortable and inviting home with its custom furnishings and beautiful accessories.
