Constructed in 1899, this beautiful cottage in Garrison, New York, in the Hudson Valley has been thoughtfully renovated by Garrison Foundry for modern family living while preserving its historic charm. Nothing is more beautiful than a home with a history. I love the richness, the workmanship, the details that the craftsman added and how the updates supported all those details. It actually is more difficult to achieve those qualities then building a new home. Bravo to the attention and love given to this beautiful home. My husband and I have done this with three homes, it hard work but truly worth it in the long run. Enjoy your hard work!
