Neely Architecture recently completed the transformation of a late 1700s Bank Barn into a Guest House/Pool House for a growing family, located in Elverson, Pennsylvania. The scope of work included the full renovation as well as the layout and planning for the outdoor area and pool. Continue below to see the before images.
Set a few hundred feet from a late-1700s stone farmhouse, the barn complements a primary residence that had previously been renovated and expanded by the architect for the same family. “What a delight it was to transform this old barn into an enchanting pool and guest house, states the architect.

The home’s custom windows and doors by Hope’s Windows were designed to create the ideal interior. With narrow sightlines that frame expansive views, they flood the space with natural light and seamlessly connect the indoors with the surrounding landscape. The product used is the Landmark175 Series with Thermal Evolution Technology.
