Design-build firm Haven Hill Builders has beautifully reimagined this farmhouse home located in Stratham, a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. They worked on this property over the years, thoughtfully transforming it through a series of projects.
Early on, they converted the existing barn into an intimate gathering venue for weddings and community events, and then renovated the connecting apartment between the barn and the main home. Most recently, they completed a significant addition to the primary residence along with a full first-floor renovation.

A generous kitchen addition now floods the heart of the home with natural light, creating a warm and inviting space for everyday living and entertaining. A large custom screen porch, complete with a wood stove, provides a quiet and private three-season retreat overlooking the backyard.

Inside, they reconfigured the existing layout to improve flow and functionality, adding two powder rooms, a formal dining room, a butler’s kitchen, a mudroom, and a media room. They also relocated the basement stairs to create a more open, usable, and cohesive first-floor plan.

What We Love About This Home
This New Hampshire farmhouse makes a striking impression with its crisp white exterior, classic proportions, and beautifully balanced modern additions. After the renovation, the interior living spaces feel bright, open, and exceptionally inviting, with thoughtful layouts that encourage both everyday living and relaxed entertaining. We love how the refreshed interiors pair light-filled rooms with timeless farmhouse character, creating a home that feels elegant, comfortable, and effortlessly livable.
