Meadow Mountain Homes was responsible for the complete interior remodel and addition of this stunning mountain-style home situated in Vail, Colorado. The homeowners were looking to not only update the existing house but also enlarge it. The builders tore out an existing patio and added two new lower-level guest suites with a new kitchen and hearth room in its place.
What was previously a kitchen and dining area was transformed into a spacious dining room, offering seating for up to 18 guests. The project team also expanded the garage and added a beautiful outdoor patio with a fire-pit and a staircase that leads down to a ski access trail. The finishes were high-end and accomplished with acute attention to detail.
The challenge came when the owners decided to spend the holidays at home, a full six weeks before the completion date; however, with a combination of fantastic subcontractors and good old-fashioned hard work from project manager, Tom Wood, the homeowners enjoyed their holidays in the heart of their newly renovated estate.
What We Love: This mountain-style home showcases newly revamped indoor and outdoor living spaces that are warm and welcoming and perfect for entertaining. We are especially loving the new outdoor patio with a cozy fire pit and a feeling of intimacy courtesy of the forest surrounding this spectacular dwelling.
