Van Bryan Studio Architects has beautifully crafted this stone and timber mountain hideaway situated in the resort village of Big Sky, Montana. Custom home builder, On Site Management, constructed this modern-rustic style home over the course of two years, completing the project in 2008. Offering 11,000 square feet of sumptuous living space, this family home called “Lucky Star Ranch” is nestled adjacent to Moonlight Basin Sky Run.

Constructed into the side of a mountain the architects had to deal with changes in levels. To address this issue, several outdoor seating areas at varying levels were created. Stone steps and large boulders helped to connect these spaces together.
