This Minnesota cabin was designed and built by Lands End Development as a getaway for an empty-nester couple, nestled in a cove of Clamshell Lake, a small link in the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. The Saint Paul-based owners wanted a home that felt intimate but could also expand, allowing them to host their large family and friends graciously.
Kelly Caruso of Regarding Design is a longtime friend of the owners and helped them bring their vision for a dream lake house to life. The cabin offers 3,000 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a 400-square-foot three-season veranda. A wide front porch welcomes visitors into the home.
