What We Love About This Home

The aspen trunk installation in the entry foyer of this mountain home is stunning, bringing the surrounding forest inside in the most literal and beautiful way. We also love how the board-formed concrete is used not as a cold industrial statement, but as a warm, textural throughline that connects every space from the entry to the great room to the bathrooms. Then there’s the scale of it all: four wings, sweeping vistas, floor-to-ceiling glass. Yet it never feels showy. It feels grounded, calm, and completely at home in the heart of Idaho.

Tell Us…

Would you rather wake up to those wraparound mountain views from the bedroom, or wind down the day soaking in that concrete tub with the aspen grove right outside the window? Let us know in the comments below!

Heart of the Home

Interior hallway with board-formed concrete wall, oak slat partition, and view to living area

The center of the home, comprising the kitchen, dining, and living areas, opens through expansive sliding doors to a back patio with sweeping views of the property and surrounding mountains. Wood floors and ceilings, paired with floor-to-ceiling windows, create a continuous flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Board-formed concrete accents create impact and define each area, allowing the home to feel both expansive and intimate.
