Once a sea captain’s house, this 19th-century residence was completely renovated by Vincent Greene Architects to bring modern comfort to an exceptional setting in Chatham, a town on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Sited on a peninsula overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the estate now includes multiple guest quarters and a two-car garage.
The original stable was converted to a guest house with a family game room downstairs. The front entrance to the house enjoys the shade of an old-growth elm. Continue below to see this beautiful restoration project…

Side view of the house reveals the three main sections of the estate: the main house is attached to the garage/guest house via an enclosed arcade.
