This rustic craftsman-style house was designed by Kligerman Architecture & Design in collaboration with Morgan-Keefe Builders, situated within the private lake community of The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, South Carolina. This dream retirement home seamlessly blends mountain living with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Keowee.
Grove Landing is a home of luxury and prime Upstate South Carolina real estate. This home even includes some Grove Park Inn elements, such as the cellar rock archways, but also features modern interior elements. The stone work in this home, both indoors and out, is truly a work of art.

The design of this lake house was inspired by a 1920s shingled beach cottage designed by John Russell Pope. A rustic material palette ties the structure to its woodland setting and helps capture the Arcadian romanticism of life at the lake.
This lake house gathers together a range of traditional American forms in a loose manner, creating an architecture that is both authoritative and relaxed.
What We Love: This idyllic lakeside retreat offers gorgeous curb appeal, and the building materials are remarkable. The details of this home were exquisitely executed, from the stonework to the roof line. Interior living spaces are warm and inviting with thoughtfully designed finishes that make every room feel both luxurious and comfortable. Overall, we think the project team did an amazing job of bringing this beauty to life!
