This 1920s Tudor home renovation by Chused & Co. is located in the Cotswold section of Edgemont, in Westchester County, New York, a neighborhood known for its Tudor-style, slate-roofed homes from the 1920s. The goal was to preserve the home’s historic character while giving it a warm interior that mixes traditional and modern style.
The Brooklyn-based firm is led by Jenna Chused, a former fashion stylist who spent 13 years building the lifestyle brand DwellStudio before starting her own interior design studio. Her interiors mix modern and vintage furniture.
The full renovation covered the kitchen and baths, custom furniture and millwork, and the interiors. The designers kept the home’s original English Tudor details, including arched doorways, leaded glass, and dark millwork, then brought in sculptural lighting, natural materials, and vintage furniture. Continue below to see more of this Tudor home transformation…

What We Love About This Tudor Home Renovation
This 1920s Tudor still has its original arched doorways, leaded glass windows, and dark millwork. We love the dark and moody color palette, from the blue-gray hallways to the mauve owner’s bathroom. We also love the mix of vintage furniture, artwork, and custom millwork in every room… and the visually striking red door against the white stucco backdrop and black half-timbering.
