Tindall Architecture, along with Alair Homes Greenville, designed this stunning mountain contemporary house called “Haven + Hearth”, set at the southern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains at The Cliffs at Mountain Park in Marietta, South Carolina. This 3,745-square-foot home balances rugged natural beauty with refined modern living. Perched above the treetops, the home embraces its dramatic surroundings through expansive windows, layered organic textures, and a seamless flow between interior and exterior.
The home is the result of close collaboration among the project team, with Tindall Architecture shaping the vision through a design that weaves together stone, timber, and glass in a way that feels both rooted in the mountains and decidedly contemporary.
Alair Homes Greenville executed the custom build with precision craftsmanship, while ID Studios curated the interiors, mixing mountain-modern warmth and timeless elegance, from the soaring vaulted great room with its floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace to the beautifully appointed kitchen, dining spaces, and outdoor living areas that make this home as livable as it is beautiful.

What We Love About This Home
This mountain contemporary house in South Carolina offers a beautifully layered living experience, where warm natural materials of stone, timber, and white oak work together to create spaces that feel both grounded and refined. We especially love the way the great room’s soaring stone fireplace anchors the space while the surrounding glass walls dissolve the boundary between indoors and the forested mountain landscape beyond. The accordion doors opening from the dining area onto the covered deck are a standout feature, seamlessly extending the living spaces into the treetops.
