The open layout of this roughly 8,219 square-foot home draws views through the home, from the double-height entry foyer.
The lifecycle of the structure and its material palette was an important consideration in the design of this home. Instead of integrating trends that implement copious amounts of hardwood species, the materials include composite horizontal siding, aluminum composite metal paneling, and thin-brick veneer — all materials that are recyclable and carry a much lower embodied energy. Long-term maintenance will require minimal upkeep with the materials selected, a major benefit due to the coastal exposure.
Accessible via elevator, the three-level floor plan greets guests on its main/second level with an atrium-style foyer that leads to a formal dining room with sliding doors to create an intimate atmosphere. Continuing inside you will find a spacious great room, a stunning island kitchen with a secondary butler’s kitchen, and access to an ocean-view cabana, pool, and spa for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
