Modern farmhouse roots meet European elegance and sophistication describes this beautiful home renovated by Bria Hammel Interiors in Redwood City, California. The homeowners purchased this home that was constructed in 2020 with the idea of updating it to their style tastes and lifestyle needs. The original home had beautiful bones, expansive windows, and an open floor plan layout with soaring ceilings.
However, this home was modern farmhouse style and the owners preferred a more refined aesthetic with European influences. This home was new construction, so nothing needed to be updated structurally, so instead, the designer focused on the details. This included new window treatments, lighting, and furnishing selections to make this home their own.
