This English Manor home was created by Morgan-Keefe Builders in collaboration with ID Studio Interiors, perched on a hill overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Keowee, in South Carolina. Upon entering the great room the two story, steel windows open to an expansive view of the lake.

Above: The gorgeous front doors are custom steel doors that were fabricated for the homeowner.
Above: The walls are plaster and using Moderate Tan from Sherwin Williams as a base. The color was tweaked and refined and made custom for the homeowner so it cannot be replicated. A qualified plaster artisan can help guide you through this process.

We are loving so much about this home, from the cozy and inviting living room with its stunning to the well-appointed kitchen with its fabulous pantry. Above: The living room furnishings are a combination of Hancock and Moore, Jessica Charles, Sherrill, and Jonathan Charles. There are also some custom furniture items as well. The chandelier was custom made by Calhoun Design and Metalworks out of Atlanta.
Above: On the left are two custom steel doors. The wood flanking the fireplace is white oak paneling with concealed storage. The ones in the left conceal the television. The fireplace is made out of limestone.
Above: The light fixtures over the kitchen island are the 4149 Pavillion Hanging Lanterns by Paul Ferrante.
Above: The cabinet finish is a diluted paint with a wire brush treatment so you can see the grain of the wood.
Above: The countertop of this pantry is Black Pearl granite with a brushed finish.
Above: In the powder bathroom, both the pendant and sconces were custom made. The manufacturer of the wall covering is Brunschwig and fils and the pattern is Bird and Thistle in the Beige colorway.
Above: The walls are actually a custom color with plaster. The designer began with Kilim Beige from Sherwin Williams and then tweaked it to arrive at the final result.
Above: The bedroom ceiling fan is the Irene 5-Blade Fan in Textured Bronze from Matthews Fan Company.
On the upper level there is a private study lined with built in bookcases for her active writing and research as well as a light filled room with windows on three sides specially designed with ample storage and flexible work space for the jewelry designs of the wife.
Above: In the powder room, the vanity was found at an antique market and the designer had it turned into a vanity. The sconces are from a brand called Solaria.
Above: The main bedroom suite is a calming retreat complete with custom venetian plaster walls and a private outdoor porch overlooking the lake. The bed is from Hickory White.
Above: The bathtub is from a company called Americh and it is the Catalina model. The cabinets are oak and have a gray undertone in its custom finish.
Above: The subway tile is from Walker Zanger in the Gramercy Park series and the marble below is from Island Stone. The plumbing fixtures are from Rohl in the Mantova collection. They are paired with Sigma bridge faucets for the vanity area.
On the lower level of this English manor home, a proper English Pub was designed per the husband’s request. Complete with reclaimed beams, a large stone fireplace, oversized recliners, and oak paneling, the room is a gentlemen’s dream retreat.
