This fabulous family ranch compound was designed by Ford Powell & Carson in collaboration with Mark Ashby Design, located in Texas Hill Country, South Texas. The objective for the project team was to create an elevated “hunting lodge” for entertaining guests, while maintaining a comfortable escape for the family and extended family for generations to come.
The earth Tone Pallet was thoughtfully designed to complement the South Texas hue, while keeping the space light and airy in order to avoid a heavy “ranch” theme. Continue below to see more of this enchanting ranch home…
Project Team: Architect: Ford Powell & Carson | Interior Design: Mark Ashby Design | Builder: Guido Brothers Builders
Furnishings and fabric selections were made to ensure durability for the family to relax and unwind after a long day of activity on the ranch. The most impressive feature is the 100-foot hallway. It is grand, without being ostentatious. The custom light fixtures pay reverence to the mission architecture of the home, of which architects Ford Powell & Carson are so celebrated for.
What We Love: This ranch compound provides the ultimate getaway for family, extended family and friends to gather and enjoy outdoor activities in a stunning Hill Country setting. Beautifully appointed furnishings and accessories adorn both the public and private living spaces of this home, adding to the overall inviting comfort. We are loving all of the stylish bedroom spaces, idyllic for adults and children alike!
