A luminous turn of the century two-room apartment positioned on the top floor of a building features 592 square feet (55 square meters) of living space, located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Inside, a spacious open plan kitchen and living room offers cozy accommodations, while a large south-facing balcony provides a breath of fresh air. In addition to the delightful balcony, other features includes a decorative non-working fireplace, preserved stucco in original condition and hardwood plank flooring. Additionally there is plenty of storage provided with closets in the bedroom and hallway.
Upon entrance into the home, you have a nice view of the living room and beyond into the kitchen. To the left of the entrance hallway you will find the kitchen, featuring classic colors and materials. White cabinetry is complimented with stainless hardware and solid wood countertops. The backsplash offers white subway tiles with chamfered edges, creating a stylish aesthetic. Previously, there had been a wall between the kitchen and living area, which was removed to create a more socially connected floor plan.
The bright and spacious living room offers a beautiful south-facing balcony offering a comfortable outdoor area to relax and enjoy some fresh air. The balcony features a wooden deck and wrought iron railing, a great spot for some potted plants! The living room has a charming turn-of-the-century feel that has been well-preserved. The room offers high ceilings, beautiful stucco, crown molding and a stately white tiled, non-working stove. The walls are painted in a warm beige color providing warmth to the space. For a small apartment, the living room feels quite spacious, with plenty of area for a sofa, coffee table, entertainment unit and a small dining table to entertain up to four guests comfortably.

Quietly located facing the courtyard is the apartment’s bedroom, away from the apartment’s social elements. Wooden flooring provides warmth and coziness to this small room; while the walls in their gray hue provides a sober feel, highlighting the moldings and stucco. A high window, so large that it almost covers an entire wall, faces the courtyard and together with the ceiling height, makes the room feel more spacious. A large sliding glass door closet provides plenty of space for storage.
