This Scandi-Organic home was designed by MA Studios, nestled on a steeply sloping, 2-acre secluded property in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The architects coined the style of this home as “Norganic”. The surrounding landscape served as inspiration for the natural elements and colors that were brought into the homeowner’s interior design choices through wood, stone, and steel. The family is inspired by the simple lines and functionality of Scandinavian architecture.

The handmade tiles, natural textures, organic materials, and abundance of light help to enhance the connection between the indoors and outdoors. Many of the objects collected by the homeowners over the years, as well as artwork created by family and friends, all help to blend the new with the old to create a relaxing and welcoming home. What We Love: This Scandi-Organic home features an inviting exterior facade ideally perched in the mountains to capture the most breathtaking views. A large balcony is perfect for entertaining and hanging out to watch the majestic sunsets. Inside, warm and welcoming living spaces with layers of texture help to provide warmth during the colder months. Overall, we think this would be an amazing home to enjoy year-round, offering a peaceful retreat that beautifully blends nature with modern design.
