With a little creativity and thoughtful design, even the smallest laundry rooms can be transformed into an organized and attractive space. Continue below to see our creative laundry list of storage solutions no matter the size of your space and layout obstacle. Underneath each of the images are further details and links to the designers of each of the laundry rooms.

Things To Consider:

If you want to save space in your home with a stacked washer dryer, there are a few things you should consider.

  • If you are a shorter person, you may worry about being able to reach your dryer. A great idea would be to visit your local store first to test out a stackable washer dryer before committing. If you are concerned about this issue, you could purchase a stool to reach the dryer, as you don’t always want to have to rely on someone taller in your household to help you with the laundry if the timing is not convenient.
  • You generally won’t need to move the vent pipe when installing stackable units. However, you may wish to purchase a rigid vent pipe that has a dedicated 90 degree angle vs. a bend. Itโ€™s designed specifically for minimum space behind the unit. It is also recommend to use stainless steel hoses vs rubber for durablilty and safety.
  • You may have to reposition water lines because of space limitations.
  • While stackable units are amazing space-savers, they do come with a trade-off, limited capacity. Therefore you will not be able to put larger items in them such as a comforter or duvet. They also may require more frequent loads for larger households, which makes them less efficient.
