Cook Design House has reimagined this home with modern, clean lines and a place to showcase their collected art and textiles, located in Washington Park, a neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. The home was originally constructed in 2018 but had catered to the lifestyle needs of its original inhabitants and reflected a more traditional styling.
The project goal was to create a clean canvas for the new owners to display their colorful collections. For the architecture, very little was updated, aside from painting the walls, trim, and ceiling to create the perfect backdrop for the owner’s curated artwork from across the globe. A glass-walled wine room was added next to the lower-level bar, ideal for entertaining.

What We Love: What was once a traditionally styled home has been given a new life with modern, clean lines and stylish details throughout. The integration of the owner’s artwork collection adds personality to this home. The inclusion of some of their beloved furnishings from their previous home mixed with newer pieces adds charm and character. Overall, the project team did a beautiful job of creating a warm and welcoming yet modern house in Colorado.
