Mindy Gayer Design has reimagined an early 1970s angular house into a beautiful coastal family home in the Port Streets of Newport Beach, a coastal city in southern California. Throughout the full-scale remodel, the project team focused on adding special elements to every space in this home.
The homeowners are a young family with two little girls, and they gravitated towards clean, white spaces mixed with colorful pops of pattern. From the beautiful millwork to the custom finishes, there’s so much to love about this family home. The designer preserved the original structure and bones of this 2,400-square-foot dwelling while giving it a complete overhaul, enhancing both its exterior and interior aesthetics.
