Above: The breakfast nook was previously all built-ins, but the designer reimagined this space by adding in a bench with a custom cushion. With a vaulted ceiling above, she had to be mindful of adding light without disrupting the ceiling design. An oversized swing arm light fixture can be adjusted, acting as a sconce when it is pushed in. The built-in shelving offers a way for the owners to personalize their space, and celebrate the changing of the seasons.
Above: The dining room was reimagined with entertaining in mind. The addition of a bespoke bar — painted in Wrought Iron by Benjamin Moore — provides an inviting space for hosting gatherings with family and friends. Infused with elegance, this space features curved cabinet details, reeded door fronts in a beautiful dark navy hue, and gold hardware for a hint of glamour.
Above: The kitchen was one of the largest renovations in the home. The designer added a second set of porch doors to enhance the natural light. She also removed the previous soffit to increase the ceiling height. The island was enlarged and a concealed coffee cabinet and pantry were integrated into the design to expand the kitchen, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere while maximizing functionality. Over the island, a linear light was added to lend the appearance of multiple fixtures.
