Trickle Creek Designer Homes designed this gorgeous black and white modern farmhouse home situated in Bragg Creek, a hamlet just 30 minutes from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. When building this dwelling, the priority was to capture the tranquil forest views and make it an extension of the home.

Expansive walls of glazing help to frame the surroundings and provide the home’s inhabitants with a sense of peace and calm, which can also be found in the finishes, furnishings, and materials selections throughout. Above: On the exterior facade, the board & batten siding is Smart Board painted in Baby Seal Black 2119-30 -Benjamin Moore. The white siding is Arctic White Siding from James Hardie. The barn lights flanking the front entry are the Mcdade Aluminum Wall Light.

Above: Stepping inside this light-filled home, you will find walls painted in Decorator’s White CC-20 – Benjamin Moore. The hardwood flooring is Demure White Oak, Allure. Behind the staircase, a floating bench is comprised of white oak. The bench provides a quiet place of reflection with views of nature through a large window.
