This gorgeous home in Montecito, California captures the essence of coastal living while embracing the concept of borrowed views to amplify the perception of space. Designed by KAS Architect, the home offers breathtaking vistas of the Santa Barbara channel, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Thoughtfully positioned outbuildings form interconnected spaces that frame picturesque scenes, enhancing the homeowner’s relationship with the surrounding environment.

Inside this contemporary abode spanning 5,500 square feet, the interiors have been beautifully designed by renowned Santa Barbara-based designer, Rita Chan Interiors. Notably, Rita Chan is also the founder of Good Ancestor, a design initiative dedicated to promoting sustainability in both home construction and decor. The result is a harmonious blend of style and eco-consciousness that resonates throughout the residence.
