This gorgeous modern farmhouse-style home was completely renovated by KGA Studio Architects, located in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. The strategic use of glass and natural materials throughout this reimagined farmhouse help connect the home with its incredible 5-acre property. As you enter the home, you are able to see the natural beauty of the landscape beyond.
Stepping inside, the wooden and stone elements create a bright and airy atmosphere that is held together by the vaulted ceilings and architectural details. These unique elements add character and charm to the home, while large windows help to bring the outside in and further highlight the surrounding terrain.

Above: A complete remodel inside and out gives new life to this once-aging custom home. The job of harmonizing setting, architecture, and décor went to Kaleidoscope Design. The designer used Benjamin Moore’s Lead Gray paint throughout, a moody blue-gray with plenty of richness and warmth that accents the home’s rustic character. For that evocative patina that gives places a lived-in quality, she treated the hardwood floors with a tricolor stain and wax.
Above: The front entry of this home makes a great first impression. The remodel was all about the details: stonework, wood beams, and unique light fixtures welcome you on arrival.
Above: From cozying up by the fire to opening up to the outside, this lovely living room is perfect for enjoying year-round. Exposed beams give a rustic touch to this space. The oversized sliding doors let the living room spill out to the wrap-around deck and greenery beyond.
Above: Tucked into nooks and dormer windows, this home has so many wonderful built-in places to curl up with a good book! With such thick cushions and plenty of throw pillows, who could resist these sunny spots?
Above: The homeowners are big on cooking as a family, so the architects knocked down a large wall that blocked the kitchen from the great room.

Above: Oversized sliding doors on both sides blur the lines between indoors and out, opening up this cozy family room to the wrap-around deck outside.
Above: This glass-enclosed breezeway connects the main home to the new garage addition, giving the homeowners access without going outside – perfect for the colder months.
Above: For this custom remodel, the homeowners knew they wanted plenty of additional garage space with easy access from the main home and ample room for teens learning to drive to maneuver. The architects placed the new garage addition on the left to create a large auto court and connected it to the home with a glass-enclosed breezeway. The glass allows you to see through to the landscape beyond.
