This spectacular mountain modern house was designed by Line 8 Design, located in Victory Ranch, a private residential community in Park City, Utah. Stone and cedar siding complement the standing seam metal roof of this ski-in/ski-out vacation residence. The swooping roof forms allow for extensive glazing, framing breathtaking views of the Uinta Mountains and the valley below.
“This finished entry roof sat on temporary posts for eight months because the permanent steel posts would block our equipment from accessing the backyard. We dug in all drainage, poured footings, concrete piers, and landscaping carefully behind those temporary posts then stood the leaning steel columns at the very end. Did we plan for it to go this way at the start of the project? No, but sometimes the hard way is the only way,” states RPM Builders.

What We Love: This mountain modern house features expansive walls of glazing that capture mesmerizing views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. A fabulous exterior facade opens into an equally exquisite interior with soaring ceilings, a dual-sided fireplace, and a beautiful materials palette. We are especially loving the generous back porch with its massive stone fireplace, fire pit, and outdoor furnishings to entertain family and friends.

From the LED lighting, white oak doors, barnwood accents, huge shower, and corduroy tile floor it’s honestly one of the builders’ favorite rooms in this home. The floor tile was sourced from Paul Dowland Tile & Countertops. The doors are from Cascade Door Company.
