This sprawling Italianate home in Malibu, California was designed by Paul Brant Williger Architect to be reminiscent of a Tuscan farmhouse. Beautiful details abound in this desirable home, from the exquisite barrel-vaulted arches in the living room to the hand-hewn wooden beams on the ceiling to the lovely gardens.
Gorgeous steel doors and windows capture sweeping views from Santa Monica to Point Dume — a promontory on the coast of Malibu. Notable architectural elements include reclaimed barn timber beams, recycled terra-cotta roof tiles, ceilings of antique terra-cotta brickettes arranged in a herringbone pattern, and custom built-ins that make this oasis truly unique and authentic.
What We Love: This Tuscan farmhouse-inspired home offers its inhabitants an enchanting exterior facade and drool-worthy living spaces. The surrounding verdant gardens are equally exquisite, providing a tranquil oasis where one may wish to spend the day luxuriating outdoors. We are especially loving the jaw-dropping ocean views and the dreamy rustic elements used in the interiors, from the reclaimed wood beams to the terra-cotta tiles.
