This stunning mountain modern home was designed by Walton Architecture + Engineering, located in the private community of Martis Camp, in Truckee, California. Martis Camp is an idyllic community that offers four-season enjoyment. The location itself is an oasis, winding through sprawling forests in beautiful Martis Valley. The neighborhood offers private golf and skiing, encircled by the snow-capped Sierra Mountains. Lake Tahoe is just a short drive away, making this the ultimate destination for year-round activities and adventure.

This spectacular wood and stone clad home encompasses 5,741 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. An open plan living, dining and kitchen area features large pivoting doors that opens out to a spacious patio, blurring the boundaries between indoors and out. What is the square footage of this home and also what’s the number of garage bays?

How can i find out about exterior colors and materials of this home.

How could someone go about finding out exterior materials and colors? Building a house in Michigan.

I love most things about this home and have used it as a bench mark for the home we are going to build. I am one of those people that don’t want my TV above my fireplace and am leaning towards a fireplace being in the corner. I love the kitchen and really wouldn’t change anything. The bathrooms I would finish different and put the sinks in the master on two different walls. We only want stairs to the office over the three car garage, other than that no stairs and everything on one level. Two master suites on each… Read more »

I understand that this string is a little dated by over a year. Is the $2M cost you stated considered “all-inclusive” for the build (land, home, landscaping, etc.)
