This classic lakeside home is the work of design-build studio Kroiss Development in collaboration with Lenox House Design, located in Excelsior, Minnesota. The exterior presents an inviting palette, consisting of Hardie Siding in Artic White, a black shingled roof and black Marvin Windows complimented by a black front door. The two-story interior encompasses 2,877 square feet of living space (not including a large finished basement), with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
This home was designed for a couple of empty nesters, with grown children that are currently attending college. They wanted to have a home that they could walk right out onto the lake, to celebrate their love of lake living. The design offers an open floor plan that makes entertaining a breeze. There is a fluid connection between indoors and out, further enhancing their entertaining lifestyle.
What We Love: This lakeside home offers plenty of beautiful details throughout. The indoor-outdoor living connection is superb, focusing on the beauty of the lakeside setting. The modern farmhouse elements adds to the inviting nature of this home, from the front porch to the shiplap walls and reclaimed barnwood.
